Mr George Omo-Iduhon, Administrator, Nigerians in Diaspora Association Europe (NIDOE), Italy Section, said more than 1.5 million enlisted Nigerians desperately required the Nigerian identification.
Omo-Iduhon expressed this in a meeting with the News Office of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos on Saturday while pondering the exercises of NIDOE in Europe.
NAN reports that NIDOE is the European arm of a worldwide Nigerian diaspora organization, set up in year 2000 by previous President Olusegun Obasanjo.
NIDOE has its base camp in London, where it serves 21 provincial sections.
“Involving similar sharing equation for every one of the nations in Europe can’t work in Italy where we have more Nigerian inhabitants. We couldn’t measure up to Sweden with less number of Nigerians inhabitants.
“We are interesting to the significant government offices and our genial Pastor for Inside Issues, Alhaji Rauf Aregbesola, to assist us with resolving this issue.
“The Executive of NIDCOM, Mrs Abike Dabiri, has gone after for us also,” he said.
Omo-Iduhon said that the body had a difference in initiative in July 2021, later a political race, adding that the new organization was ready to work on the government assistance of Nigerians.
