BWF Big showdowns 2021: Yamaguchi Wins Ladies’ Singles Gold; Thai Pair Win Blended Copies Title

Second cultivated Akane Yamaguchi secured the title of ladies’ singles at the BWF Big showdown on Sunday in Huelva (Spain).

The 24-year-old Japanese shuttler beat World No.1 and favorite Tai Tzu Ying of Chinese Taipei with persuading dominate in two matches, 21-14, 21-11 of every 39 minutes at Carolina Marin Arena.

Yamaguchi, at present world No.3, turns into the second Japanese ladies player winning the BWF Big showdowns title in the set of experiences.

Second cultivated Dechapol Puavaranukroh and Sapsiree Taerattanachai won the blended copies title as they beat third-cultivated Japanese team Yuta Watanabe and Arisa Higashino in straight game, 21-13, 21-14 in the last match.

This title is the second ever one that Thailand players have won in the set of experiences, while the first was made by ladies’ single player Ratchanok Intanon who snatched the gold award in 2013 Guangzhou version..
